Ticket Pricing and Refund Policy

The standard game fee is 200 EUR per player. Players have the option to pay a sponsor fee of 250 EUR that will allow us to offer subsidised tickets at 150 EUR. No set number of subsidised tickets can be promised as the number on offer will depend entirely on the number of sponsors.

The game fee includes participation in the larp, accommodation for two nights, and vegetarian meals throughout the larp. The fee does not include any transportation to and from the venue, so the players will need to cover these costs themselves.

Tickets are paid by a bank transfer to Illusia ry with a payment deadline at the end of May, 2026 for both runs. No installment plan is available but we hope that knowing the payment deadline well beforehand will allow our participants to plan ahead.

In the unfortunate event that a player needs to cancel their attendance, our cancellation and resell policy is as follows: Players are not allowed to directly resell their tickets. If a player is unable to attend, they need to inform the organizers who will look for a replacement player. As players will sign up in pairs, the cancellation of one partner will lead to the drop-out of the other player as well unless another partner can be found. If you cancel 2 months or more before the larp date, we will refund up to the sum of the standard fee, keeping any possible sponsor add ons. No refunds will be made within 2 months to the date of your run.

The ticket payments cover the costs of organising and running the larp: venue, food, props and prop deliveries, travel costs for Katrine Wind and her Danish co-host for one run, transportation for game masters and kitchen, and a little sum for emergencies.

The game itself and the whole event has a strict time management policy. This means that workshops and play will start on time, and we are not waiting for anyone. This also applies to the specified break times. Please plan your trip thoroughly so that you can be at the location on time. Preferably also plan your costume to include an in-game appropriate watch to keep track of time.  This style of strict time management may not be preferable for everyone, so we ask you to think and be honest with yourself: do you enjoy being on time and tracking time, or is this something that makes you want to participate to a lesser degree.

Costumes

The larp is set in a “vintage steampunk” era. That means that both human and Daemon will be dressed in costumes from an ahistorical past that fits the description “vintage steampunk”.

This can entail fashion from the late 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Feel free to mix and match any clothes, styles, and accessories from these decades for your outfit. This is all about creating the right look and feel that suits your character, rather than recreating any particular era. Think for instance dark academia, light academia, or history bounding.

As far as the steampunk part of the larp is concerned, this applies mainly to the sciences, tech, and gadgets.

You can get inspiration from the pinterest board that Anna Katrine Bønnelycke and Kathrine Dahl have kindly put together. Be advised that it in no way has to as advanced as this.

The Daemon player will additionally wear make-up and costume parts so it’s clear what animal they are representing, but no full animal-makeup or costume is relevant or wanted in this larp. Body language and representation are the most important. The representation can be done with prostheses, make-up, wigs, costume parts like fur, feathers, tails and the like. Avoid any full suits or masks.
