Signing up in Pairs
You need to sign up in pairs to play both the Human and the Daemon part of the same character. During the game you will remain in constant physical proximity to one another, meaning that if you need to go to the bathroom, your partner will need to be right outside the door. If you need an offgame break, your partner will have to go with you. You therefore must sign up with someone with whom you are comfortable and have calibrated expectations for the experience.
Both players have to sign up separately and mention the other player in the couple in their sign up form. The Human and Daemon player will receive the same character sheet as their knowledge and experience is completely transparent – sharing each other’s thoughts has its perks!
Sign-up is done in English.
The sign-up is now closed! It was open from the 7th of January to the 1st of February 2026.
Flagging
After the sign-up period has ended you will receive a list of the people who signed up and a separate questionnaire asking you for any preferences or safety concerts regarding your potential fellow players.
You will have the possibility to indicate if there are people with whom you do not want to or cannot attend a run together. If we need to decide between people who for some reason or another cannot participate in the same run, the decision between the potential players will be made by lottery.
We will also ask if there are any red flags among those signed up – anyone who might be a concern for the safety of other players and/or organizers. Any such concerns will be dealt with on a case by case basis and might lead to players being excluded from these runs of Daemon.
You will have until the 8th of February 2026 to state if you have any issue with anyone on the list.
Player Selection and Casting
After the flagging questionnaire has closed the organizers will do the player selection and casting for both runs. You will know by 1st of March if you were selected to play either of the runs as well as know which character you were cast in.
Player selection will not be on a “first come, first served” basis but based on a match with the play style for the game as well as the characters on offer. Additionally, we will prioritize players who have not yet gotten the chance to play Daemon. There are a couple of guaranteed spots in each run for our organizers and photographers.
You will receive a character sheet after you have paid the full ticket cost. The payment details and instructions will be sent with the casting results. Payment deadline will be the end of May 2026.
